INTRO

Post a Bio
Decades Clean welcomes your participation in our Discussion Forums. These forums offer you the chance to interact with members of our community. We ask that you post with respect for all members. This is a community so, when you post, we encourage you to tell your fellow community members not only who you are but a little about who you are - not just a cryptic moniker, but a bit of a bio. It enriches the discussion to know who's "behind the post."

Customize your Profile
You also have the option of adding information to your personal profile. It helps if you add a location, such as "New York City, New York, USA," or "Rotterdam, Netherlands." You can upload a picture, which is called an "Avatar." This will always be quite small, so keep this in mind when choosing images to upload. You can add a "Personalized Text" message, which is always displayed directly beneath your Avatar.

Consent
In order to keep these forums enjoyable and interesting for all of our users, we ask simply that you follow these minimal rules. By participating in the Forums, you are consenting to these rules. Violators may be warned, suspended from posting, or barred from the forums, by a collective decision of the moderators.

POSTING

1. If you post crap that a majority of the Mods thinks might get the site owner in legal trouble, the crap is deleted. And if the site owner states that said crap might be harmful, it is deleted.

2. Will treat other members with understanding and respect.

3. Any Mod can temporarily remove a post from view, but they need to contact the poster and try and work it out or at least understand what the post was meant to say, or convey.

4. There are 6 mods. 4 mods can delete or edit a post. The poster should be given ample opportunities to explain or argue his/her post, but ultimately, the Mods make the call, not the poster.

5. Admins do Admin stuff. Mods do Mod stuff. The two shall never meet when examining reported posts. We elect Admins based on their tech cred. We elect Mods based on our feelings about their judgment.

6. "Ignore button is here" should be the most used reply to reported posts.

7. Mods must state that they understand anything they do, do not do, or fail to do as certain people, factions or groups think they should, will result in insults, hate, dislike and snarky comments. Can't make everyone happy, but Mods can keep the place semi-sane.
